Alarm sound

Holding the lock/unlock keys on the fob will disable/enable the horn sound. If the chimes/beeps aren't working when you press the button on the door (outside of the car) -

Posts: 13,159 Drives: '18 GTI Autobahn DSG Rep Power: 1387	Holding the lock/unlock keys on the fob will disable/enable the horn sound. If the chimes/beeps aren't working when you press the button on the door (outside of the car) - check the fuse in the drivers-side footwell. That's what caused mine to not work - it was loose.
