Auto romp
So i found a nice large empty lot near my apartments at a local community college in Austin and got the chance to play full throttle. I have a 2012 auto and wanted to test wheel spin. It did awesome with a full throttle romp hard right turn with a vdc off and a hard 180. But testing it from a complete stop straight line throttle punch I was kinda dissapointed. There really wasn't any wheel spin like I expected. It's weird because I have done a straight line punch before and it did spin the tires while launching. I have noticed that if I drive the car soft to work and back all week the car seems sluggish. But when I drive it hard for a day or two the transmissinon seems to be much more responsive and aggressive with more torque. It's like sometimes it's nice and torquey and sometimes it's driving in 5th when it should be in 3rd....

Agreed. A couple of weeks ago at the drag strip with VDC off I spun all the way down the track. Like, no joke... all the way down. Was rather irritating because all I wanted was for the tires to grip so I could get a move on. Now the issue with it feeling sluggish... the computer, like all modern ECUs adapt to driver input to increase efficiency. |

Your public roads are made of concrete? Really? interesting..... not here. We have a few sections of hwy that are concrete where heavy traffic can wear the asphalt down too quickly, but other than that, all public roads are asphalt.....

Yeahhhhh... Almost none of CA is paved with concrete, SOME random intersections, random stretches of highway, and but stops are paved in concrete, the rest is assphalt
