There should be a few members here that have an old flux capacitor laying around the house. If the price is right, you can buy it and install on the Z. Just make sure its set up to produce 1.21 Jigawatts of electricity and you must be traveling at precisely 88 mph for maximum gains....All bs aside, these cars are pretty quick for the class of car they are. I would personally rank the Z (manual or auto) number one when compared to cars of the same class, not like others who like to compare a 2013 Shelby GT to a 370Z and say that its a fair comparison.

edit - I see your profile says you already have a 2012 Z, why not just take it to the track or wherever to find out yourself??

I thought the z was drag limited at 161 mph?
Is there a governor on the car at 155 as well?

FWIW, if you use the search function, there are some pretty informative threads on this from ~2009-2010.

Well SPOHN, Go ahead and slap yourself. I guess some of will never be as sharp as you. So...as far as the track goes.....that seems to get really involved. Driving school, roll bar, etc. But, my question was answered. I didn't know there was a limiter.
A friend & I were talking about this yesterday, so I thought I'd ask. I have no plans for 155. Thanks |
