Good alternatives to OEM catalytic converters?
Currently running test pipes on my 2012, just read that my county will begin doing emissions next year. Emissions have never been a thing here so this is an area I'm fairly clueless about.
The default will be to get OEM cats but I'd be interested in seeing if there are less expensive options that will definitely pass the smog test. A lot of these high-flow cat options look great, but I'm unsure they would actually pass? |

Your best bet is to look for someone selling stock catalytic converters for a sure pass. I have some Old high flow cats that passed, albeit with a proper tune.
TX doesn't do the sniffer test on the cars, they do the OBD2 readiness check. |
