Default DIY second cup holder insert center armrest

So the passenger princess said the Z doesn't have a spot for her boba, and since the second cup holder insert was only made for a year and no one has it (or is selling for an arm and a leg), i decided to make my own! cost less than 10 bucks in materials.

Materials:
cardboard
ABS plastic sheet, i think i used 1/16th inch for the thickness? cant remember exactly.
Epoxy
plastic cup holder
Cutter/dremel

Clean out the arm rest storage area

Cardboard template

Transfer cardboard template to ABS plastic sheet

Test fit cup holder and cut it to fit inside the arm rest

Epoxy cupholder and ABS sheet

done!

Think there’d be interest in a 3D printed version? I have this cupholder in my ‘09 Z and could easily 3D print a replica.

Never seen the 2nd cupholder insert option, I'll send it over to my Etsy contact to see if it they can 3D print it.

The cup holder in the door panel doesn't suffice?

Haha the door one kinda sucks. The insert was made for 2009 only so it’s not very common. Looks like this
