curious if an 19x11 wheel with tire (285/35/19) would fit in the trunk?

Not without all the interior out of the rear, and then it still may not fit. Never tried it.

It'll fit. I can get 2 in the rear, 1 in the passenger seat, and 1 behind it.

1 tire will fit without issue. Getting 2 in the hatch is tricky, but doable. If you took out all interior plastics and carpet, 2 will fit easily.

I was able to fit one tire in the back and the other on the passenger seat buckled in (might be another option for you). The problem with the tire in the back is that the hatch won't close, so you have to finesse it at the right angle so it lays properly on the tower bar.

It's all about the wheel size. I can fit 4 base wheels and tires in the Z. But only 2 sport or Nismo wheels. I'm guessing you should be able to fit a 19x11 wheel and tire in the hatch. Remove some of the trunk plastic and it will fit no problem. Passenger seat is another option if available.

thanks all for the feedback.

I was pumping the spare tire and thought the hatch area would be very tight for the 19x11 rear wheel/tire if I had to use the spare. The passenger seat is not an option with the persimmon color seat.

I think he's talking about an unforseen flat rather than track day.
It can't hurt to keep a folded tarp and bungie cord behind your seat in case you need to wrap the tire and the hatch won't close.

Discount Tire has giant plastic bags specifically for wheels and tires. Just ask your local tire shop nicely and they will likely give you a couple.

I can get a NISMO rear wheel with a 305 30 19 in the hatch, but it won't close tight. It hangs on the second catch. If I didn't have the hatch screen, it would probably close all of the way. The tire touches at the top of the window.

Stock NISMO v2 wheel and tire fit in trunk. Slid portion of wheel over top of cross brace. Used towels and blankets on top and bottom.
