Whats this on the dash???

my 2010 JDM 40th has it ,,

I see this one in a youtube vid has it also

its just black on the other side when looking in from outside

Don't have anything like that on a US dash.

Bugger ,, Do the Z in lower trims in the door shuts light up a orange/red colour ..
seams JDM 40th model is way diffrent to USA spec one .
I have no spoilers, no 40th badges apart from one on the boot lid under Fairlady Z badge

and enbossed in the front red seats
Rear Fog light works
Bluetooth works. USB imput is wicked
car is auto bluetooth to cell phone

Chassis number mid 800 , so under 1000

Owned the car about 5 months done just over 5000Kms, done pretty much whole of NZ so time to park it up . .

Things I dont like... the clutch pedal... O and the blinky blinky dash light ..the VDC should just be turned off

Its not a parking ph number display

has wires ..

Looks like it's aftermarket. Trace the cable/wires to see where they go to.

Did you ask on Australia's Z club page? I am guessing that they would have JDM models too.

Looking at Japan only Nissan accessories, Nissan has three different accessories that have a component that mounts on the dash.

OEM Nissan security system:

OEM Nissan remote starter:

And finally, it could be the OEM Nissan ETC transceiver for the tolling system in Japan:

Thanks maybe to do with the alarm as it has factory alarm stickers.

ETC is not usally on the dash , all my other cars have ETC and nothing on the dash

No remote starter paper work ... . My E51 Nissan Elgrand has remote starting, but I dont have its remote.. the dofer for that behind the window screen has a areail (sp)

car has this side window decal

which is a long the same lines as on my E51 and 350z (JDM so its a Fairlady) alarm decals

Does the Z34 come with option locking seat belts? .. My E51 has them .. is a pic decal on window of a person in a seat with a red seat belt .
How to use them is pull the seat belt right out, plug it in let it recoil then it locks and does not move untill you unplug it ..
