Fluid Exchange Advice
Hey, I have a 2013 370Z MANUAL with roughly about 35k miles. It’s been parked and hasn’t moved for nearly a year. However I have started it maybe twice within that time for about 10 minutes. I’m definitely changing the oil however should I need to change any other fluid? I’ve changed my diff fluid 2 years ago when it was around 25k miles when I did my diff bushings. Car isn’t driven a lot as you can see. I just don’t know if I need to change my diff fluid again or my trans. Let me know thank you!

Seems like everything needs to be changed except the differential oil since it only has 10k on it.
Priority actually to change clutch and brake fluid as they are both soaking wet with water and you are now asking for a CSC failure. Motul Rbf600 for both. Changing the transmission oil for some fresh Redline MT85 is a very good idea. Probably time to swap the power steering fluid for full synthetic as well. Motul ATF VI is my recommendation for that. If you have never changed the coolant since 2013, yes. Last edited by viiv; 09-27-2021 at 10:06 PM. |

Get coolant test strips and a brake fluid moisture tester. When each reads out of spec change fluids. Anything else is a waste. I simply drain and refill my PS reservoir with each oil change using a large syringe through the top fill. This keeps it fresh without all the bs of bleeding the rack.
