Post 370z resale value

sorry for the rant, but has anyone else been noticing heinous resale prices on 370's?? I'm in Canada and 3 years ago I picked up a 2017 base model bone stock with 15,000kms for 24 grand Canadian. Today anywhere online I see base models with 30-50,000kms (sometimes more) on them with some absolutely disgusting mods in meh condition for 28-35 grand!? Here in Canada the base model MSRP was 30ish thousand... maybe I shouldn't be complaining cause my car is like new condition and I could probably sell it for half decent but wow the prices are kind of ridiculous for them here. Any Americans here that have been seeing the same pattern down south? Also what is the reasoning?

All used cars are selling high, not just the 370Z.

The lack of computer chips for new vehicles and not being able to sell them. Is driving the price of used vehicles up across the board. And no end in sight for the shortage anytime soon according to the trade papers.

Solid point. Honestly forgot about that. I just can't fathom paying more than 25k CAD for a base model in 5/10 condition at best with some heinous mods on it and more than 40,000kms just wild... and the crazy part is they are selling LOL. what a time to be alive.

^^^
The Chevy dealerships down here in Texas are bereft of cars or trucks. What they do have are also crazily priced.

New car shortage due to chips has been in all the news for some time.
The topic here is used. Last week I read the average increase for a used vehicle from
the same period last year was around +32%.
Best deal for some that have a car on lease is to buy it.
The price is fixed!
