Default I need some input about selling my Z

Hey Guys hope all is well. I am contemplating on selling my Z as I am looking to purchase a home, sell a home and purchase a 4 door car. I wanted to know what are some things as a buyer that you would want to hear about the car or things that could help with the price. It's a 09 42k miles that was recently supercharged and maybe ive put 500-1000 miles since the supercharger was added.

Keep it and play with it. Buy a cheap sedan after you buy the house.

I've had it since 09 and have played with it a lot. I want to move to a new platform.

If you're looking to get money for the parts you put into it, that's always difficult and will take time (months) to find the right buyer. Personally I would not expect to get more then half the value of the parts but that is just me. Best thing you can do is have all the documentation possible. Detailed maintenance history, receipts for everything, dyno, warranty info if relevant, and videos are nice too. List of spare parts and where to get replacement parts for the SC will do a lot to counter anxiety too. Parting out the SC might make more sense in the end, though it won't hurt to try and see what you get for the whole car. Anyway GL with sale and your future car.

OP,

The last post above mine is solid advice.

A s/c’d car appeals to a more limited buyer pool, but that pool will be more enthusiastic and potentially willing to pay a bit of a premium.

Unload the blower separately and then anyone looking for a used sports car becomes a potential buyer.

Regardless of how you go, detailed records of service history, parts used, installed professionally etc go a long way to make potential buyers feel comfortable.

Good luck.

You are going to take a beating. No way around it. It would be the same if I wanted to sell my car. Just Ugly...

You are probably looking at some of the lowest values right now since the new Z is coming out. I'd say hang on to it for a while if you want to avoid a bath.

This. Wait until the one of the new 400s somehow explodes and takes out a busload of nuns and/or orphans. Then sell the 370.

Modded cars appeal to a smaller market than original cars.

good luck, I think a lot of the posts states it all...
if you can afford to keep it keep it.
But I would remove the SC and sell separate...
Also housing and used car market is crazy right now.....

Lol not mine, but it would be fun to line up with.

To the OP - Selling cars like these can cause regrets. If you really want a new platform to dive into, as others have said, you’d be better off to wait out the current 400z feeding frenzy. I’m a regular on the 6th Gen Camaro forums, and even guys over there are talking about the 400z. As with anything, this will pass.
