can I put stock exhaust back after tuned?

will this damage engine? i will still have the HFC not stock cat

not necessarily.

Tubing diameter and shaping can alter the resulting horses. Probably won't be too much, though.

For most DDs, changing just the exhaust won't have much of an effect since the ECM can compensate for minor changes.

If you re-install the same brand/model exhaust that you took off, you will be back to where you are now and no re-tune will be needed. If you install a different brand/model, re-tune if you want optimum performance.
