What is this piece called?

Is it just transferring load from Subframe/engine mount to body?

Can I take off in this position or do I need to Support subframe on inboard side? Car is currently on Quickjack, supported on pinchwelds.

And are bolt heads under carpet in cabin?

FSM will have exploded diagrams with part names and numbers. It also has R&R procedures. Link in my sig.
