Many threads about rag top problems on this site. IIRC, your problem has already been discussed (but I don't remember if it was solved).

If you don't like this site's search function, go to any of the bigger web search engines and add "site:the370z.com" to your search string.

If you plan on doing your own troubleshooting/repair, the FSM is a valuable resource. Link in my sig.

Everyone with a Roadster loves to drop the top! Sorry to hear of your unfortunate luck with your Roadster they require maintenance too. Do a search and you will see you are not alone others here have had this same issue. Search here before considering taking your 370Z to a Nissan dealership service department or shop you may be able to fix this issue yourself.

Maybe an issue with one of the bungees being worn out? There are several threads in the "Nissan 370Z Roadster (Convertible)" that mention the bungees.
