The Z is extremely reliable in my experience. I put over 100K miles on mine in 6 years. Plenty of other people have gone 200K+ miles without major work. It's got some quirks for sure - mostly because Nissan dropped the ball in a couple of areas. But there are well documented fixes. There are plenty of other vehicles out there with far worse issues than the Z
