Default Tomei Expreme Ti Fitment

Hi everyone, this is my first post here, so I apologize if its already been asked or if I posted in the wrong place. Anyways, I am right about to pull the trigger on a Tomei Expreme Ti exhaust, however I want to buy it through Amazon from Tomei. However, I have noticed that the exhaust being sold by Tomei through amazon is for 09-11 370z’s. The exhaust on Z1 motor sports gives no year limitation. Are these the same exhaust? Will the one off amazon fit on 2014 without an extra modification?

BTW, here’s the links for Amazon and Z1

They'll "fit" any year Z, the exhaust fitment hasn't changed

Issues with the tomei to keep in mind:
- they hang very low, lower than stock. terrible clearance under the carrrr
- they are loud AF. One of the loudest exhausts out there

Definitely looking for a louder exhaust. Love the look of it too. The single exit reminds me of the old 240z’s. However, I live in a town with pretty bad roads. I typically scrape my front plastic chin pieces going in and out of parking lots if I’m not careful. Do you think the muffler would scrape?

I do not have a Tomei, but I have read that some owners have purchased the 350Z version of the exhaust to alleviate the clearance issue. The trade off is that the exhaust pokes out further from the rear bumper.

Motordyne and Fast Intentions all have far superior clearance and options to get the sound you want

if you insist on titanium, contact Next Level Performance about the R1 Titan or the anniversary version, center exit with special bumper for that specific exhaust. $$$

If you want a single, I'd recommend the GReddy RS Revolution (or Race, if you want louder), the Soho Motorsports single, or the Thaitanium exhaust if you want Ti.

My problem with the Fi and motordyne is the price. The HKS is actually cheaper than the Tomei, so I’ll definitely check it out. Does anyone know if using the 350z version of the Tomei is just bolt on, no fabrication?
