Default Limp Mode...research failed me ...sorry

Driving after getting gas I noticed no acceleration at all. The dash showed the "skidding car" and engine light as well. Just last week I bought a tool to read the error codes and it reads "throttle / Pedal Position Sensor/ Switch D Circuit Low....I cleared the code and the car ran for a few miles and now I get the same message and can not get it to run....AAA/ Stealership is in the future unless you kids can help

I'm not going to be much help diagnosing this one, sorry. However, others may if you also list the numbers associated with the codes. Assuming there were numbered codes to go with?

You may just have a failed tps...try removing pedal assembly & checking connection good.
Also you can perform ohm test if you know which pins to hook up too.
Shouldn’t be too hard to find.
You by chance haven’t replaced tires lately, have you?
I know too much diameter difference front/rear will cause light & reduce or cut throttle as well.

I had same issue years ago. Replaced TPS, all good.

Again I apologize, I caused his to happen. I have a Sprint Booster on the gas pedal and you're not supposed to switch settings while having your foot on the pedal. I guess sometime after I left the gym which is on a bumpy road, my foot must have hit the accelerator pedal causing the error. I am glad I took the time to re-read the manual and they walk you thru the reset. Live and learn, glad I didn't have to go to the dealer for this, even thou I considered it and of course, I would have taken the booster off.
