Default squeak in seat

Recently a squeak sound began coming from the driver seat. it seems to be coming from the area near the right side bolster somewhere near the electric power seat switches. the squeak is caused whenever my body weight or my right leg moves quiickly to the right onto the side bolster. the car doesn't have to be moving for it to happen. what could be the cause of this?

first thing id check are the bolts mounting the seat to the floor... are they torqued properly?

i took out the seat and checked it out. nothing appears to be out of order. and yes, the bolts were tight and properly fastened. the sound seems to appear when there is a firm downward force pushing down on the side bolster. as if something metallic inside is deflecting but is not properly lubricated and so squeaks

The car tends to get noisy in general when it's cold outside imo.

do you mean when you are clicked in all the way, so you dont hear that snap sound? Cuz I lean way back when I drive, so when I brake really hard, the seat comes back up and snaps back in place. Its actually pretty amusing, causes the seat to rock back and forth while driving.

Technical Service Bulletin.
Meaning, it is not a recall but Nissan Corp has noticed enough complaints that if you go to a service department at a Nissan Dealership and they verify your car has this problem they will fix it.

OP, if it's under warranty, go to the dealer, I have had my seat base replaced on my Maxima twice! You need to show them how it squeaks though... They NEED to replicate it somehow

If the dealer doesn't do anything about it, find a new dealer
