Default Cold weather tire performance

So proud new owner of a 2017 Nismo Tech (6 speed). I bought as I don't like the mpg my diesel f250 for trips and don't like using the 2016 Z06 out of season or on long trips.

So here is my question. Going north next weekend (if dry and no snow). The temps are to be low around 12 degrees. My ZO6 with summer ultra performance tires turn to ice skates below 45. How will the Potenza S001 deal with the cold pavement?

Thanks again and glad to be back in the Z community.
