Default Fluid shopping opinions

I was checking out Motul 5.1 brake fluid prices in canada (not for the 370 but another Nissan) and came across Walmart.ca. It seems that walmart is like an Amazon or the types which act as party to 3rd party sellers. The price is insane, except it is sold and shipped by one of these home seller types you see on amazon. Here's the link: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/Motul-U...RD6FG3BZTKYBSX

Would you guys trust this type of sale for Fluids? I don't think there are expiry dates for fluids that aren't opened up. Perhaps microscopic holes in the conatiner seal???

In comparison, I can get Motul 5.1 at Local part shop at a discount for $9 cdn + taxes for 500ml.

What do you think? Would you buy it from wlamart at $3/container. (note the price is for 12x500ml at Wallyworld)

TIA,

ZZ

Yeah, I don't mind buying directly from or at wallyworld. You have someone accountable, and somewhat reliable and trustworthy ( I use trustworthy loosely with Walmart ) source in supplying you with a legit product.

I never trusted these 3rd party sales. On Amazon, I always try to buy "shipped and sold by Amazon". Sometimes that's not feasible, but we hope we are going to get a good product and service.

Like the old saying: "If it's too good to be true......"

Anyway, I probably have my own answer, but hoping to see if anyone has had that type of experience.

I've always been leery of the 3rd party sellers on the Walmart site. You have to assume that WM has done some kind of rudimentary background check on these sellers, but if they do that as well as they do other things..... At least with Amazon, you can see their % of positive ratings over some period of time.
My other issue would be the lifetime it would require for me to consume 6 liters of brake fluid, lol. That's a lot of fluid changes.

That pretty well sums it up.

I'd snag a bottle at the local WallyWorld for that cheap - can always take it back if it turns out to be worth that little and not just a good deal - but not from an unknown vendor.

I've ended up throwing away a lot of brake fluid because it had sat too long after opening.

I did some research on this particular 3rd party vendor, and it reaffirms my suspicion. Nothing but bad reviews! ok, a few good ratings but majority bad. mainly due customer service and bad shipping.

Thanks all for help.
