Thanks for posting!

Nice quick watch that speaks truth to the Z. Could it be faster? Yeah. But it is a fun car.

I would not take any of his bad points seriously. From a guy that usually drives the most expensive cars on the planet and then put himself in a car that is made to be affordable and reliable for the other car enthusiast that cant afford a $500k price tag...

Agreed! He is very rarely impressed by cars that most people can afford. So for him to actually say that the Z Nismo is fun to drive is really an incredible achievement.

Yes, he did a comparison between 86, used cayman and 370z and wasn't impressed by the Z (only rev sync), the Nismo looks like a good improvement to change his mind.

Anyway, the 370z is a car in need for modifications to your liking I have a friend who drove mine and said he cannot figure out how it can turn/perform like it do with its heavy weight (he is used to drive 86 cup and now owns a S2k). I can imagine if Chris drove any track prepared 370z, he will fell in love hopefully.

Top Gear should include more attainable cars like the Z.

Not true. He did a 86 vs 370z vs Cayman video and he liked the 86 a lot.

Yes you’re correct. But I did say “rarely likes”. There are exceptions. I am convinced that he likes the 86 because of its skinny tires which make it easy to kick out the rear end and drift around corners, his preferred way of flogging a car.

His vid on GT86+370z+cayman is mentioned a lot; let's keep in mind his opening statement. He calls the z an 8/10th car. Driven to 8 its great fun! Pushed to its limit things get messy. He a track guy, he's gonna rate any car based on track criteria. Yep he drives hyper cars but if it sucks on the track he'll let us know. I think he did the z fair enough

Top Gear is more about romance and glamour of the elite sportscar. The do segments on hot hatches and such just to keep the common folk tuning in and we do because we simply love go fast cars.
