But this Z had black wheels, mines had the stock rays....nevertheless I peered hard at the car trying to see inside but it was kinda far away.

Anyway, I continued doing what I was doing which was taking a tire off my daughter's car to get a nail removed and the tire repaired. I took the tire up to the local Discount Tire shop. As I pulled into the lot, guess what I see, my old 370Z. I walk around the car to make sure it was my old car: Frost grey leather seats , 6MT , FI exhaust with carbon fiber cans . The Rays were plasti-coated black but it was my old car.

So I walked into the tire shop and looked around at who looked like a Z person and asked a young man in his 20s. Yes, it was his car now. We chatted for almost an hour. I gave him the full history of the mods I had done to the car. He told me that he had taken the 10" resonators off hence the reason it was so loud. He also told me about the mods he was going to do to it. He said the car with my mods was pretty strong.

So, if you're on this board, PM me I would like to keep up with your progress. Although I have a ZL1, I still have a soft spot for the Z.

why didnt you trade it for a GT-R that would fit your grandson
