what does everyone use - cheap cost OBD reader for Iphone? There are so many versions and i have had a couple in the past the just dont ever seem

what does everyone use - cheap cost OBD reader for Iphone? There are so many versions and i have had a couple in the past the just dont ever seem to work. I guess it could be user error, but i just really do want a plug and play system. hoping to spend under 30 bucks if possible.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions, emotional outbursts? Thanks in advance. |

I use the OBD Link LX it works great and serves it’s purpose. You will find them for different prices you will have to shop around. I found them on www.ebay.com

There are going to be different features of course, but the main difference between the $30 and $80 bluetooth units is going to be the amount of data it can transmit. You may find that the cheaper unit is not capable of displaying data from every sensor you want all at the same time. And you may not be able to log as much data at the same time. But if you are just looking for some basic readouts on Torque and not much more, the cheaper unit would probably suit your needs just fine. Then again you may find that the extra cost is worth it for the nicer unit.

Only thing that sucks is it doesn’t really log, so if your looking to log data then this isn’t the route to go. |
