Me and my son went and had dragon burgers, talked cars, met some old friends and made some new friends, watched the 50 racing oh and killed some bugs, lol

I think I've met you before. You do video up there. I used to go every year with the R1-Forum and we got some vid from you I believe. If you are that guy you are legendary. Those times I saw you I was a novice/intermediate track rider and you were killing the gap from the tail all the way through. I know I followed you more than a few times just to see your lines.

Yup I did videos in 2006, did the 24hrs of deals gap in late October then moved on to truck driving, seems like a lifetime ago

I was up there last weekend on my bike. I actually ran into some one I think you know. I guess you have inspired a lot of people on that stretch of road. This was his ride. I could hardly keep up with him and he was taking it easy on me.

I could barely keep up with him back then on a barely road legal 05' R1 with Ohlins internals and rear sprung on DOT radials. That's when i learned to be super smooth on the throttle.

Don't feel bad, I'm 49 and I bought a 15' Nismo and promptly boosted it, tuned it , blew it up then put another motor in it. The learning curve is'nt all that steep but it costs.
