VIR Aug 25-27
Hey all, just curious to see if any forum members are going to the event at VIR on aug 25-27? Me and my buddy will be there sat and sun in the Nissan corral. Should be a good event and would love to meet some folks and see their Z's!

I'll be there. Is there a Nissan corral now? I didn't see it posted a couple weeks ago. Just Porsche, BMW, and Corvette.

I'll be there.
For most events this year there is a Nissan corral that only gets a few cars in it - then the day of they will let you park in it for free. In other words, don't pay for the corral and you will probably get it. I'm always sad that the track's main sponsor is Nissan but hardly any show up. I think I'll be camping for the Oak Tree GP with some racing buddies.

To be honest, I was thinking about buying tickets for a different corral with nicer amenities. I'm not too concerned about parking my Nissan, as my toddler, wife, and I can't fit in the Z anyway. The corral is all about the food and drinks provided and Nissan's was pretty weak last year. I went with SRT a few years ago and that was fantastic! Lots of food, free beer, driver meet and greets, hot laps in a Viper T/A, air conditioned trailer with multiple TVs. Yeah, but that went away the next year when they dropped out of the series. So I was thinking Corvette, Porsche, or the Foreign Cars Italia corrals. The car you drive is inconsequential. Either way, I'll still be there cheering on the Altima (last year was pink and a DNF) and the two GTRs (typically running in the back).
