Default Clicking noise from front @ 30+mph

I searched before posting, but didn't see anyone w/ my specific problem.

After taking the car out of storage, I had a clicking noise coming from my front driver side, only when traveling more than 25-30mphs. It definitely sounds like metal and rotational, it's very timed and oscillates if I drive faster. I will try to get a video of it when I'm driving. It's odd because it doesn't seem to make this noise at low speeds or when I turn. My mechanic thinks I have a warped wheel, but I would like to troubleshoot as much as I can before I decide to ship the wheel out to get repaired. He did put it on his balancer and said he can see the wheel oscillating a little bit.

He checked bolts and bushings and didn't see anything. I'm not sure if he checked end links. My next step is to raise the car a little bit and grease some areas of interests. What areas should I grease and what should I try to tighten down?

I had this problem a few years back and it ended up being something with my brakes , vaguely remember it being something about the pins... Can't remember what exactly but worth a check.

FWIW, lighter/thinner parts (eg, dust shields as mentioned by ZoomZ) tend to make higher frequency noises ("tink", "ping"). Heavier/thicker parts (eg, end links) tend to make lower frequency noises ("cluck", "thud"). The lower the frequency, the more likely you are to feel it in your hands, butt, feet.

There is a metal cap at the back of the steering knuckle where the spindle/bearing mounts into. I use to get this annoying rattle couldn't figure where its was coming from. One day when I was adding brake ducts I found the cap was loose and gave it a wack and re seated it. Haven't heard from it again. good luck

Thanks all, I was able to locate the problem. It's really silly, but my undertray was super loose and was hitting my FRP bumper which sounds like metal when driving. It's weird that it sounded like something rotational was making the noise. I used self tapping screws and all is well.

Thanks everyone for the input!

At least it wasn't anything mechanical and costly.

Yes, thank god! I thought I was going crazy because it was in storage and just came out last week.
