09 Manual Transmission
Stillen Gen 3 intakes
FI non res exhaust
Non res test pipes

My car doesn't get driven as much anymore, mainly bc I have a truck now too but also bc who wants to drive a car that isn't running right..my SES light is on and has been for a while now, so I'm going to try to get everything back running properly; been idling high and not shifting right when accelerating from 1st-2nd and when coming to a stop. Just doesn't drive smooth anymore since that light has been on. Has anyone found the fix for the P0300 code (I think is what it's throwing, I could be mistaken). I've read many posts about this problem but never have found the certain fix. I'm going to read the code, tighten all connections on the intakes & exhaust pipes, clean the MAFs, change the gas cap, clear the code & hope it runs right and doesn't come back on.
IF that doesn't work I guess I could take it to a dealership or a shop but really not wanting to do that. I've also heard it could be coil packs/spark plugs etc.
FINALLY...if that doesn't work would an UpRev tune clear this code out for good (probably need the tune either way is that right?)

I want to get my baby back up and running right, I hate driving it how it is at the moment. Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Looks like a tune may be in order

You have reached the 3 air mod limit before a tune is almost required to run correctly, this is common where there are multiple codes being thrown because of adjustments to intake and exhaust. the tune will also smooth out those shifts and the air/fuel ratios so that misfire can go away, or at least they can tell you why its happening

I will also receive a catalyst code when running long distances at constant speeds, but has ever affected anything

You need to make sure that you are on the correct code, so plz check it, dont half *** it, and then post it, if you are actually looking for help to fix this issue.

because no one will help you with what you have typed in.

with p0300 its simple try MAF cleaner first, then reset the car by disconnecting the batt. for 10 min, if the code comes back then its the coil pack, or spark plugs most likely.

Also there might be a code on which cylinder its missfiring.
