Default It's a Z thing.

I was about to get cranky when I parked way out in the back lot behind a restaurant, and noticed someone parked next to me when there were plenty of spots. (Mine's the silver one in the pic.) But then I saw it was another Z and I thought, "oh cool. I'll allow that." He (or she) even parked so our driver's doors wouldn't open toward each other. Anyone else experience that, or park next to another Z or sports car?

I did that to a brand new 911 turbo a few weeks after I got my Z.

Yeah those darker rims look pretty good, but most of the aftermarket wheels I've seen in person on Zs make the car look cheaper, or not as aggressive. I'm still impressed by how good the Zs look, even before mods.

Those dark rims look to be from the 15/16 Nismo...

I would sometimes deliberately park it next to another 370z but not 350z.

I try not to park next to other nice cars. If I do, I try to give them as much space as possible while still giving me plenty of door ding buffer space. I hate door dings! I park far away from people, shopping cart return areas and trees because of bird poop.

I always park farther out than most people are willing to walk. Couple nights ago, walking back to my car saw another vehicle parked next to me with hundreds of other spaces available. WTH, but then saw it was another white Z.

Do you think a matte black or more of a gunmetal color goes better with the silver z? I like the dark contrast but didn't want it to look like a mismatch. I'll probably hit up the for sale section when I get a couple thousand more bucks in my z budget.

I've had other nice cars park way out by me & I do the same if it was where I was planning on parking. That will be one car that won't ding your door in most cases.
