Anybody with Video recorders in their Z.
Just curious. The road rage in my area is getting ridiculous. Do some of you guys run Video recorders? Hard to enjoy the car without some retard riding your bumper and then trying to cut you off. Yeap, it happened today. I normally don't but this morning I got PO'ed. I need a better solution than to either hold it in or lash out at some Ahole. Yeah, it got the better of me today. I need solutions for a better way to handle it.

Yea, it came in handy when a truck reversed into my Z. Got it on video and filed a claim with my insurance. Also caught some close calls involving other cars too.

I've noticed the same thing lately, mainly following the election. Methinks the uninformed libs are taking their rage out on the roads as well. Piglets squeal loudest as they're yanked from the teat. I don't have an in car camera, so my carry piece will continue to suffice as a deterrent until the liberal rage subsides.
As far as cameras go, there's a great amount of reviews online for them. I believe the most often overlooked points are night vision quality, field of view, and storage, so keep those in mind when shopping. Once you get one, post those videos up on youtube with some hilarious commentary and I'm sure your rage will disappear. |

I had a dash cam. It died in the summer heat. Imo a dash cam is as cheap investment for providing evidence. Lots of them online. Do your research. I will be buying another soon as I feel that it's on of those things that help keep you safe (like seat belts). The not summer heat just kills it's life span. This time around, I will buy one with no questions ask warranty for 3+ years. That way if it when the heat takes it, it's covered and replaced.

Wife said to get one. Period. Guess I am. LOL Just crazy how people are. I will probably buy one and put it in the car and nothing happens. Hey that would be just fine with me.

From my trusty YouTube Radar guy " Vortex Radar". If you are looking for a radar detector or laser jammers, he is the man. His tests are off the chart.

I use one by the brand Papago! its a Taiwanese brand.
I have no problems with it so far. A cop pulled me over saying I ran a red and I wasn't even phased because I had proof that I did nto.

I have a Black Box as well. Doesn't use batteries so it wont explode in the Florida heat but then it only runs when the car is on. Overall its been great, had it for a few months no issues so far.

I'm glad I have mine. It gives me a little peace of mind, as I wouldn't want to be in a "he said she said" situation that was clearly the other person's fault.
They're not that expensive for a basic one, either. The G1W is the best affordable one. You can get them on Amazon for around $50, plus another $10 or so for a memory card. I recently upgraded to a Rexing V1 and hardwired it to the driver's side fuse panel next to the door. It turns on when the car turns on and turns off when the car turns off. Here's my How-to thread for the install: DIY: How to Hardwire a Dash Cam or Radar Detector And reasons like this are why I have a dash cam (taken from my old G1W):
