Goes to the stealership tomorrow. Will report back on the experience.

I also have ALWAYS done my own oil changes on everything I've owned, but since it's there and it's been 110 degrees outside, I'm gonna let them do that too at ridiculous expense ($60 for synthetic).

FWIW, you can buy the oil and filter yourself and most dealers will only charge a nominal fee for the labor (my Honda dealer charges $12). I get Mobil 1 at Walmart for ~$25 for 5 quarts

Good luck at the stealership on the warranty work. Dealershits can be hit or miss

Do the oil change first thing in the morning. It's a bit cooler. Although, in the phx area that may not help either.

I just got the seatbelt retractor replaced and now I have this rattle in the trunk, had a battery replaced and had wifey pick up the car only to find a scratch on the side of the car of course I should have looked at the car and picked up the car myself but can't blame the wife so I had it fixed on my own...

Sure can. I need to bring mine in for a new shifter boot that covers the linkage under the car. Noticed in the weekend when doing my exhaust it was hanging there and most of it had been worn down and rubber most sprayed all over the undercarriage from rubbing against the driveshaft.

Was less than impressed with Service st the dealership I bought it at and didn't think of it until I was already past the turnoff for a different dealer this afternoon. Really should make that appt sooner than later.

Dealers are such a pain in the *** sometimes, especially coming from Bimmer, Infinity and Audi dealers that I've been used to and really so go the extra mile. It hasn't been long, but so far Nissan not so much.

Sounds about par for the course, unfortunately.

Overnight lows have been in the 90s and the driveway is a frying pan. I got lazy, admittedly. However, this will likely be the last time I ever get an oil change at the dealer, and I'll go back to doing them myself. I've done hundreds of oil changes on my vehicles and others over the years. that's not the issue. I just didn't want to do it this time. Guess I'm getting old. Have done engine swaps, solid axle conversions on IFS 4x4 trucks, tons of mechanical restoration work on my old Z31...so definitely not afraid of wrenches.

Goes back in later in the week because they had to order a new washer tank pump. Door rattle fixed.

Overall experience is meh.
