Get an OBD scanner and see if any DTCs or other errors have been thrown. If any are present, write them down. Clear all errors and see if car will start.

hmmmmmm Might be time to reset the ECM. Pull a connector from a battery post, step on the brake pedal for a few seconds, and reconnect battery. Car may idle rough while the ECM relearns the engine.

If that doesn't work, look at the FSM diagnostics.

Ive deff unplugged the battery for a long while already and actually switched batteries !!!! To reset the ECU/m? !!! I have to press the break as well?

Pressing the brake pedal drains any residual charge in the system. It's not required but it makes the discharging process go a lot faster.

Not sure what you want me to tell you. Download the FSM (link in my sig) and look through the diagnostic sections until you find your symptom(s).

IMHO, 2 options: Get a known good steering lock and see if the car starts. 2) Bite the bullet and tow it to a shop and get it fixed.

There is a third option: Ship it to me, I'll take it.
SouthArk370Z and Ommateal like this.

Not a bad idea. It doesn't sound like an ESCL problem but ya never know.

Found a whole steering column online for cheappp - He said it's in total working order including the ESCL. It should be here tomorrow. I'll pop on the new one and see if she fires... If it doesn't start...then yes... back to Nissan for them to fix at all costs... -.-

They already cnfired it was the Lock. But My home repaie only gets it into ACC... soo...confusing.
