Default Is CSC failure soon?

I checked the clutch fluid today and below is a picture of what it looks like. The car has 5500 miles on it and although I check the fluids weekly this is the first time I actually took the cap off. The fluid has been at a constant level. That is why I never took the cap off. But anyway, after seeing the condition of the fluid does anyone think CSC failure is near? Why is it so dark? Taking it to be flushed and refilled tomorrow.

Here is what I am considering now. I plan to keep the car three years or until the full warranty expires. Should I just hope for the best or purchase the Heavy Duty CSC and have it on stand by. The dealer said they would use parts provided by me for warranty work. But of course there would be no warranty but from what I read the HD CSC doesn't fail. The dealer said that after the warranty expires the installation would be about $650.00. I think I would do this at that time if my situation changes and I do need to keep the car longer.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

That looks like the CSC is on borrowed time. If they'll install the HD unit, go for that one.
