Default Vin Decoding issue

So, I'm set to pick up my new Z tomorrow and ran across this cool VIN decoder. I've run the vin through carfax and autocheck and a few other databases to see if anything flags, but it's clean. One thing that kind of puzzles me is that when i decode the vin, the interior decodes as black, however the interior in the car is grey. This isn't a deal breaker for me or anything, I'm just kind of at a loss as to why! Has anyone else ever had this happen?

If it's a pre-owned Z & all vin tags match?

Then the previous owner had it changed out, Not hard to do or uncommon.

I could be reading the decoding information incorrectly because when I scroll down to the very bottom under trim color it has gray but under interior it has black and it's kind of both

The vin decoder you are using could and may be wrong.

A forum member named Vince posted this several years ago, but it only includes Zs produced through July of 2013 - Nissan 370Z Production Statistics

Thanks. I knew of that one but I thought you may have been using a more updated one that would take in Aug/Sep/Oct 2013.
