Two different ways to sell it basically. You can sell just the cable while keeping the license on your car, or you can revert the car to stock tune and sell cable+license (standard or tuner license)
As a buyer, if you're just after the cable you don't need to be aware of anything. If you're after the license as well, most people ask for a screenshot from the Osiris software showing that the license is on the cable and whether it's standard or tuner version. I bought a used cable a couple weeks ago so if you have any other questions I can probably answer them

hahaha Tigger's English Class!
It's the standard edition. I think I bought it for 550. Just after the price increase. Boo!! So the buyer can reuse the license? Would they have to call uprev to get a new ISO file and send in VIN? |

Ah! You have a sense of humor! Few and far between these days. So hats off to you for not being offended. Ok so there are other threads pertaining to this topic but yes, you can "put the license back on the cable." I've never had uprev but have read enough on the topic to know that much. How the process works exactly I do not know. Best bet is to do a deeper search on the forum and use google to do it as it'll give you better results and skim through until you see what you are looking for. Good luck! |

The easiest way I have found to search this forum is to use a major search engine and add the following phase before your search string: site:the370z.com
