Smile Nissan said go for it.

I have the manual tranny and I have had the grinding when shifting gears. Since my warranty was about to run out, I took it to my local dealer and had the problem verified. They contacted Nissan and was told that they can fix it under warranty. They gave my dealer the option to either rebuild or replace the tranny. My service rep told me he doesn't like to rebuild, so they have a new tranny on order and will replace the bad one as soon as the new one comes in. So, I am very happy with the outcome. Also I only have about 27,000 miles on the car. I would also like to say I have not had any problems except a bad MassAirflow sensor when I first got the car. No steering lock problems (did get the lock replaced under the recall). My gas gauge works fine, all the dots lite up when I fill the car up.

Sweet!

And to think I was happy when my dealer recently replaced my battery for no charge
