Hello. I am still shopping for a Z and I have a dumb question. I know that non navigation models have an Aux port right on the main head unit.

Dumb Question
Hello. I am still shopping for a Z and I have a dumb question. I know that non navigation models have an Aux port right on the main head unit. I see that units with navigation do not have that.
Is there an Aux jack in the center console for models with navigation? Thanks |

Don't get the nav if you ever plan to do an aftermarket radio.

Phone BT not restrcted to Nav models
My non-nav 2013 will BT a phone, but for music I have to use a cord from my IPod Touch to the Aux input. 104

'15 blue tooths music. Love it. It's a bit odd though bc I have to cycle through the source types through the steering wheel after my phone is connected to bluetooth. I can't figure how to get to it any other way.

I have a 14 navigation. Can either stream over Bluetooth or listen to my iPod that's plugged into the USB

I'm so glad I got the non-nav version. Easy to get a touchscreen head unit with nav & bluetooth, and still keep the center storage box. That ends up being cheaper than the tech package too, with more features than the tech package offers.

The stock nav already looks dated, in 5 years it will be antique. I'd rather have a custom mount for the tablet of my choosing, and just update my device as desired. |
