Reintroduction and follow up.
This is sort of a reintroduction, or a follow up for those who remember me. First I want to apologize for not being on much since then. When I first introduced myself, I had explained how I purchased a GTM turbo kit. Thanks to some helpful people I was able to retract that payment before it became an issue.
I however decided to go with a full custom build, made by a shop right here in town. He really does great work and knows his stuff. However, it seems he is having trouble keeping up with business. So, my car is still just half done and I'm about to shake things up on that front. It's been far too long and has had me quite disappointed. Summer is here and I miss my car. This has made it difficult for me to want to log onto this website. Reading all the fun people are having, I'm missing out, I can't even share anything. Well, at-least I still have my Xterra. But, while I love my Xterra, it's no replacement for my 370Z. Anyway, I don't mean to sound like I'm whining. I just wanted to as stated, reintroduce myself and give an explanation of where things are concerning my 370Z. Right now I am trying to figure out an issue with my stock wheels and current tires that came with it. Looking to get new tires and and am in the process of getting some wheel damage fixed. I started a new thread if anyone wants to chime in. Could use help with a rather odd issue |

So if shop goes boom tomorrow whos going to support your build? Having people like Jotech, Cobb, and Dynosaur performance is nice to have around because they can support your car and continue to do it. As well as they know everything about the turbos they're selling. Why would you purchase from a shop locally full custom when they are already having a hard time? Cheaper isn't always better (assuming thats why you did it). Regardless, good luck and welcome back.

Getting custom work done in a timely manner is a pain in the butt.
Example: I had a guy replace my floorboards in the 1975 280zt due to rust. He went a couple of months over. Mind you, he had to fabricate everything, Floorboards, frame rails, etc. It was an awesome job though. You couldn't buy replacements that look and were anywhere near as nice/authentic. |

And from what I am seeing, the work so far looks great. Though, I must say I am mostly new to this stuff. I'll get some good pics though and I guess wait to see how it turns out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
