Need vehicle transport
I've decided to transport my hunk of sh!t to Z1 so John can hopefully fix the hot mess someone left me. I have no idea to go about this, I've looked up some carriers and can't find too much info. I live in Orlando so it's about a 10-11 hour trip. I would appreciate any help, thank you.
I'll be at work tonight so I won't be able to respond to the thread but I will be able to send/receive PM's. |

Z1 should have some local vendor's with roll backs,,,that would be an easy run for them.
i know some locals here that would jump on it-but i'm near Columbia SC,,,would cost more.

I've twice shipped vehicles, both Corvettes. Once from MI to SC with "Reliable" (the one you always see advertised during the various car auctions on TV), and once from NJ to SC with Intercity. Both were enclosed transport. In short, I can't speak highly enough of Intercity and how well they helped me out of a jam, and conversely, I wouldn't use "Reliable" again if I had to. I use quotes, because I found their name didn't come close to describing their customer service (or lack thereof).

I need to have a functional vehicle, as long as I don't have to replace another motor it doesn't matter the amount. I can figure on the amount to get it to Z1 and AT LEAST the cost of a tune if I'm lucky, at worst I will have to pay for a round trip ticket back to Orlando so the car can sit in the driveway till I can decide what to do since the money to do this would all be in the toilet...I mean two motors in less than a year is more than most can bare. The car has been driven very little since I drove it back from Tampa. I can either leave it alone and let it sit in the driveway forever or I can try to get the hot mess cleaned up. It would seem this is a tuning issue but that's what I thought before the first motor blew. Last edited by Infidel; 06-01-2015 at 07:37 AM. |

If people want to hear my SOB story I will start a new thread, I've just been so busy working overtime and my spare time is spent with my family...other than doing this I've been sleeping. My Z has 15K miles on it and I've driven it very little since I first gave the car to Bobby at VSR last year. It more than frustrating to tell every other person at work about what's going on every other week and hear them give me advice on what to do. Maybe one day the car will be drivable but I truly don't have hope at this point. I have blown my whole wad trying to get the car right and I just don't have anymore to give. I can get it transported to Z1 and pay for a tune and, if it's real bad, get it transported back home but THAT'S IT. It will stay parked in the driveway until I can put some money in the safe long enough to do something with it.
I am, however, investing in ammo and mags. I feel within the next two years or so leading up to the election I will be able to cash in to the panic crowd. These are pearls people....ammo, mags, ammo, mags. |

John didn't have any advice as far as transportation. In fact, he really didn't say much. I think he's hesitant to get something that may be a trainwreck.

How much are you looking to spend for transport? An enclosed transport is quite expensive but it's "safer". |
