Synthetic oil
Hey guys,
I'm coming up on an oil change soon and I'd like to try a better oil than the Ester oil Nissan provides. Any suggestions on oils/filters? I've seen a lot of guys going with Royal Purple or Mobile 1. Also, when I do switch to one of these, is there anything different that I do or just drain the old oil and put in the new as usual. Thanks all. |

Z1 has it cheaper than anywhere.
Z1 is 9.50 a qt most places are around 11 a qt. get the Z1 redline oil change kit. oil, filter, crush washer. its what ive used every time.

I am currently using Royal Purple, i like it, it runs cooler than nissans easter oil, also the engine is louder specifically VVEL, it sounds like slightly knocking on idle, but its not actually knocking.

I personally run Rotella T6 Synthetic but that's on a boosted motor. |
