Default Floor lighting

Does anyone know where to tap in to the dome light wiring under the dash for floor lighting? I searched on line and couldn't find anything. I just want the basic door open lights are one, doors closed lights are off. I added LED's to the dome light today and want to add the floor lighting also.

Look in the DIY forum for lighted kick plate install. There is a fuse box in the passenger side that is taped for that purpose.

This uses a harness to the BCM, not the fuse box...

I ended up going right to the ribbon wire in the dome light assembly when I did mine.

I ended up just tapping into the sill plates on each side of the car. I took a picture incase someone ever wanted to do the same. When I took the drivers side apart and seen the cable I checked it at the fuse box and the two cables can easily be tapped into at the box also. Since I already had the drivers side apart I just decided to add it there.

I did similar, I think?...

I tapped in to the door sill lights and grounded at the door pin switch for the puddle lights and reflector lights

Also if you get interested, It's pretty easy to do foot board lights and under the door cards... I tapped into the illuminated hazard light button and used any grounding points I can find.

(crappy cell phone pictures, but it lights up all the pedals [and it's not quite dark outside so light is still shining through the 4 garage windows])
