Curious if anyone has info on this tire. I picked up a nail in one of my front tires (car has 360 miles!!), and just in case, I tried looking up the prices for a new tire. I did plug it, and seems to be holding air just fine. But I was a little stumped as to why no one carries our OEM sizes for the S001. I know this tire is new for the US market for 2014, so maybe they're not being stocked yet? I figured Tirerack would at least have them, but they don't.

Word of advice, Never plug a tire, especially on a high performance car like this.
There is a lot of stress put on the tire when cornering. It will work itself loose at some point. The rubber plugs are the worst since they due more damage to the tire foundation when inserting the plug. The proper way is to hot patch it from the inside

Thanks for the advice, but I'm no stranger to plugging high performance tires on sports cars. Do a search for vulcanizing tire plugs. You'd be surprised with how it's becoming the preferred method for tire repair. A vulcanizing plug just isn't a piece of rubber shoved into the tire. It mends itself to the tire. The one perk to a vulcanizing plug over a patch, is that it keeps moisture from getting to the belt/chord.
