Sti to nismo? Also questions about interior.
Have a 2011 sti and drove past Nissan and decided "what the hell ill go look at it". Big mistake. It was a pearl white 370z nismo. Now I keep fantasizing about it lol. Questions I have is, how is the audio system, Bluetooth calling?, any previous subie guys have one now? Would you do it? I live in vegas by the way so the awd is fun but not needed.

BUT the regular touring has better seats (leather, heated, but most importantly, a lumbar support lever)

Still miss mine
<------- But i DO enjoy my Nismo, cant really compare the two. Each has its plus/minus...but at the same time Im a little bias since my first two cars were Subarus. |

coming from 2010 wrx stage 3 w/ cobb accessport....
now 2011 nismo- you asked how are the speakers, you will def be unsatisfied with oem and there is no bluetooth. The 13 model does have bose option though. Then again, I dont believe anyone buys a Nismo for the stereo. I went aftermarket stereo an I love it. The only thing I miss is the turbo! |

I personally think the Nismo has a better interior than a WRX/STi, but then again I have a 2013 with the Bose system & bluetooth. You wont be disappointed with the power nor the suspension setup of the Nismo and I came from a 400whp Suby. But I definately miss the AWD and 25psi slap in the face lOl Last edited by BlKsUbYkId; 02-22-2013 at 12:09 PM. |

Keep the STi, get the Nismo too. They're totally different driving experiences.
The Z has a much better interior, better stereo, and actually drives and feels like a sports car. Being N/A, there's not much torque and you really need to rev high to get proper power. The STi interior and stereo suck, but the AWD is awesome and it's got more torque so you don't have to rev out the engine to get power. Having 4 doors and adequate trunk storage is very useful too.

I used to have a WRX. Traded it in for the ZR. To me, the Z is a real sports car, not just a sporty 4-door car.

Hello all.. first post here in 370z land... It seems i have the same dilema as im the owner of a 2012 sti and am thinking about trading it in for a nismo. But just found out that invoice is around 43k so if i pull the trigger i think ill go used... have seen a few very good deals used. Funny thing is about a year ago i had a test drive set up and was gona trade in my evo X for the nismo cuz i wanted something different, rwd... but a few days before going to the dealer my wife tells me she has something to tell me... sooooo no nismo cuz my little girl would need a place to sit lol, so i settled on the sti... stage 2 evo was a beast and i miss it dearly, stage 2 sti also a beast with 285hp/330tq on a very stingy mustang dyno but handling cannot compare to the evo... Loved the look of the nismo since i first saw it in 09...

Which dealer did you go to? I bought mine at Henderson Nissan. They had a pearl white one there.. along with a GTR. I've had good luck with them. They do basic maintenance on my Wife's car. I recommend them as I don't have any real beef, except when the bastards ran my spotless car through their wash and dirtied it up.

The Bluetooth works great and the Bose is also good. Not holy shyt I just woke up the town loud but good. I'm not into going deaf anyway unless when I turbo this bitcch it makes me go deaf and I'm good with that option.
Unless you really need GPS, which last time I checked every phone has it on it for free, leather seats, which sucks in the summer time and they crack in high heat. I laugh at everyone who has them on to drive to work(GPS)...to the same place everyday. Plus if you get lost that often to where you need it all the time you should consider some medication to help out with your short term memory or just stop smoking yourself retarded. |

been wanting to pull the trigger for some time lol... but 43k for new seems like a bit much, and i believe that was for a 2013 not a 2014, id prefer the 2014 two tone paint... new 1 series M should be out next year for 48k and i know id get one for msrp.. Z car is at the end of its run and new z in 2015 as a 2016 model hopefully 2.4 turbo and cheaper... also brz sti coming soon although looks not as nice as the nismo... lot to think about lol... but if i get a 2012 for a good price im in...

BANG BANG!
Do it and go with an aftermarket system that will work/sound better. I did.
