Exhaust compatibility question
Do I need to purchase a Y-pipe if I am swapping out the stock nismo exhaust? Various websites and other threads do not give any clear answers. I am looking to purchase the Tomei catback and some say I need a Y-pipe to bolt it on and others say I don’t. Can anyone here verify? I have a 2010 mode if it matters. Thanks in advance!

With the Tomei, you’ll need a Y pipe.
You can go with a number of choices, including Tomei, Motordyne, etc. I’m running the Motordyne XYZ pipe with a resonator and the Tomei rear section. |
