Default Top speed Governor

When i was at the dealership a sales guy came up to me and congratulated me on my purchase, and he whispered to me that since i am going to move to Germany, he advised me to remove the governor in a german Nissan. Is this possible and does anybody have any knowledge or feedback on this topic.

You wont gain much so why? You might get another 5 to 10 mph on the top end but it takes a while to get there anyway. I see no reason to undo the limiter unless going FI.

That all being said if you install a tune such as uprev you can change or disable this function

You will be able to still. The limiter is set at 155 so its not that you are going to be going slow by any means.

Enjoy Germany, ive been there many times visiting friends. Not many people here say munchen, everyone here knows it as Munich! Have a great time, first time I was there I was 20 and had a rental car, took it to 135 before it maxed out

I lived in Germany for 4 years and found my '08 350Z plenty fast on the Autobahn. Besides, even if you raise the top speed, your car's ultimately limited by power and gearing. I suggest focusing on your suspension, brakes, and tires first--especially if you plan on taking your car to the Nordschleife.
