Default Long time Z enthusiast first 370Z

Aloha everyone from Hawaii! Picked up my first 370Z while I was on vacation in California over the Christmas/New Years break. Couldn’t find the perfect Z here on the island so I bought it there and had it shipped here (supposed to receive it next week!). I did get to drive it around LA and I loved it!! Can’t wait to be able to drive it around the island!

I am a long time Z enthusiast and I’ve also owned a 73 240Z, 79 280ZX, and a 81 280ZX. So being my first Z in awhile, I wanted to get what I wanted as close as possible. I bought a 2015 370Z Nismo Tech Red with only 15K on it! It’s a beautiful car and I can’t wait to start personalizing! I have already added the rear window Louvers in CA before I shipped it saving myself about $70 in S&H to Hawaii!!

Look forward to talking with you all in the future!!

Congrats and welcome! This car even has the louvers, must bring back memories!

I've seen more and more 15+ Nismos with OEM rims painted/powder coated to a single color, interesting.

Yeah, that through me off when I bought it too?! I thought the original Rays where black and polished towards the outer part?! When I looked closer at these wheels they were all black and they’re rough to the touch. I concluded they must have been coated to be all black.

Ever since the revision for model year 2015 Nismo, there had been some desires to see the wheels in a single color instead of the oem black and polished mix. I am not surprised if the previous owner actually went for it. At the moment, CarMax has two other 15+ Nismo's that have the same wheels.

Congrats Op!

With the finish of the factory Ray's being single color and matte, I wonder if those are plasti dipped. I plasti dipped my previous wheels in a different car and the finish looks almost identical.
