14 Nismo and feel like Dorothy in land of oZZ
Hi to all- I've finally pulled the trigger last week and bought a 14 solid red Nismo #0578. I've been looking to do this for a few years and have been reading many posts on the site for couple years. I couldn't be happier and I pinch myself whenever I take her for a drive.
I'm going to keep it stock, so I'm not planning any upgrades at least for a few years. Well ok I have on order the Axle Mower license plate tow mount, but not expecting any power gains from this. I spoke directly with Larry when I ordered it. He was very helpful and knew exactly what I wanted when I told him I wanted the plate to mount flush to the bumper. He said to order the 15-17 bracket. If I may add my opinion to an issue some have with the car: - The in cabin road noise level. Personally, I want to hear the car working like the machine that it is and I want feedback on how it is handling the road surface. I do respect everyone's opinion to the contrary ... call me crazy but honestly I love it. |

Congrats and welcome! I see that you completely get what this car is about. Apart from the Lotus Elise/Exige which I don't even know if they're still sold in NA, the 370Z is the closest we can get to a true/raw/traditional sports car and the Nismo version just perfects that recipe. Enjoy the driving experience!

LOL! Thats funny. Was this from a dealer? I was looking at a similar one in Minnesota on Car gurus. Ahhhhh... wasn't quick enough. Was working out shipping to the Boston, Ma area. Hard to find the red 14 nismo's. Congrats!

Congrats! You will get tired of the "blender" sounding stock exhaust note. Need to open that baby up with a nice quality cat-back.

You may also tire of the unnecessarily harsh ride. Get the OEM euro tuned rear shocks ...still firm just not harsh.

Thx everyone. Yes it was from local dealer and I did snag it soon as available. I could not pass it up, as these cars do not come around here very often.
Nice looking ride you've got there too Zthirty4 |
