2016 Solid Red Nismo Tech
When I registered at this forum last year, I had not purchased my Nismo yet. But after a long time waiting, I finally bought it yesterday! After long deliberation about which color to pick, I finally chose Solid Red. I couldn't be happier.
A couple of terrible cell phone pictures. Better ones to come! |

The car's so pretty, it even looks good in a crappy cell phone photo!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I am on love with this car. I had a 1978 Datsun 280ZX back when I was 16 (that was 1992 or 1993 if I remember correctly) and fell hard for the Z back then. I watched as Nissan came out with the 300ZX and then 350Z but fate did not allow me to get either.
This is literally a dream come true for me. And the best part is, I was able to cut a check and pay it in full right there at the dealership. Mine all mine! Planned mods in the months to come (going to enjoy it stock for a little while while I am finishing up this house purchase and subsequent move) - Cosmetic: -coilovers (not sure which brand yet...recommendations?) -Carbon Signal full lip kit -custom wrap to help keep paint mint, probably a dark gray -wheel spacers -tint -possibly have the stock wheels painted. I saw them done in Black and they looked great. Major performance: -Cold Air Intakes (again, haven't set my mind on a brand yet) -Either Stillen Supercharger kit or FI - TT kit or GReddy Turbo kit. I think I'd like to aim for the 500HP range without going crazy and having to rebuild the motor to handle it. I'm new to tuning so any tips or advice would be appreciated. I'd prefer to keep it simple with just a bolt-on system. -FI exhaust appropriate for whichever way I decide to boost. I'm probably forgetting something. Either way it feels great to be a part of the club! |
