2011 Nismo 370Z in SoCal!
Hey! I just picked up my 2011 Nismo 370Z in February 2015, it was just under 30k miles when I got it.
It was in pretty good condition, besides the headlights having sun damage.. and a few scratches / rock chips in the paint. Oh and of course I have the CMC leak, except the dealer cannot find the leak even though the fluid completely drained in about 2500 miles of getting the car. The dealer helped me flush and fill up with "GTR brake fluid" since that's what the TSB says... I'll just keep watching the levels for now. I've done a few things to it, and got many more planned for later this year. Here are a few pictures: Trading in my 2013 Subaru WRX for the Z First mod: ARK Performance GRiP exhaust system Probably the best thing I've done so far! The Nismo exhaust sounded nice but this just makes the Z so much more fun to drive. Got my Pioneer AppRadio4 installed! I really needed the Bluetooth and USB.. I also decided to paint the headlight housing black to get rid of some of the chrome plus I got to refinish the lens to get rid of the sun damage... they look so much better! A few older Nissans at work! The 300ZX has a TT swap and the S14 is all stock! Last edited by TheNismo; 06-04-2015 at 05:46 PM. |

Congrats and welcome!
Interested to know what made you drop the WRX and pick up the Z. If you don't mind, perhaps you could compare and contrast the two, beyond the obvious differences - NA vs. turbo, and RWD vs. AWD. |

I had a Genesis Coupe 2.0T before the WRX but it just didn't have the power I wanted. So I decided to get the WRX because at the time I thought I wanted something more practical and still fast.. which the WRX was a lot of fun and made great power but to me it just didn't feel like a "sports car" or look like one either. In the end I just wanted to get back into a RWD coupe but decided this time to try out a V6 and honestly the 370Z is more fun than either of the other 2 cars! Thanks! |
