Hey everyone. Maybe a little late to the party but I just picked up my first Z, an '09 370Z.
I had been looking for months around my area (central PA) and was specifically looking for the magnetic black 6MT Touring w/sport package (the Nismo was a bit out of my budget for now). I found the exact model I wanted was a little harder to come by than I thought when I first started this journey. I had looked at a few newer ones with low mileage, but I was disappointed in the condition of the exterior - dings, scratches, faded trim, etc on all of them. Why can't people take care of such awesome machines? Anyway, I finally came across one with higher mileage (~60,000) but the body and interior were immaculate. I could tell the previous owner actually cared about her. The higher mileage was a bit worrysome at first, but I jumped on the deal and haven't been happier! This is my first Nissan after a string of Hondas/Acuras. I'm a pretty competent home mechanic but realize I have a lot to learn about these beasts. Looking forward to learning, experimenting, and sharing with the forum! BTW I threw a pic up in the New 370Z Owner sticky in case anyone is curious... many more to come! |

Oh yes. Lots of mods beginning with exterior. Its quick enough compared to the B series engines I'm used to engine mods probably will be next year but they will happen!
