Hey all
Been cruising around the forum here lately, because I'm contemplating on whether I should trade my car in and get into payments on a 370. Now there's no doubt in my mind that my next car will be a 370,it's just a matter of when.
I'm coming from a 4th gen eclipse gt platform that unfortunately doesn't have a great deal in aftermarket support, not to mention the front wheel drive aspect as well. I've done some things like headers, cai, motormounts, stage 3 clutch,LSD,lowering springs, poly bushings front and back. Some other things I'm probably forgetting. The next big thing was getting a 3" exhaust set up with a reflash tune from hackish, but some things went sideways with hackish and his partner and the reflash is no longer available. I could go with a piggy back, but I thought "what's the point".
I've come from a great forum over at club 4g (and still a contributing member) A lot of guys with a wealth of knowledge, some really sick builds and just a all around good atmosphere, but alas,I think its time to move on. I really want to start getting into racing as a hobby and think your guys(n gals) platform is one hell of a place to start! From what I've read up on,the horse power and the handling these cars have out of the box is very impressive, your after market support is pretty awesome and these cars look so friggin beautiful!
I look forward to reading up on everything this forum has to offer and hopefully in the near future,be able to contribute as a fellow Z owner
This is my current ride

GL with your decision whatever the outcome may be. I'm on several forums and this one is a special place.

Thanks for welcoming me in
Ya it's amazing what wheel spacers and 2" lowering springs will do! Had to get rid of that 4x4 look haha!

Yeah, the 3g and 4g eclipse forums are pretty decent, to be honest. (I still have a 3g for winter.) I never did like the 4g much, but you've done the things that you basically need to do to make it a looker. Nicely done!

Welcome, and hopefully you find the Z you want!

Hello all
So I've had a bit of a bitter sweet happening 3 weeks ago. I dropped my eclipse off at a tranny shop to have a stage 3 clutch and quaife LSD put in. They had it from Monday to Friday and called me up Friday morning. So I get off work early and go pick the car up,run some errands and make my way back home (man that LSD worked like a hot damn!) so I'm about two blocks from home, making a left hand turn. I'm in the intersection and the light turns from yellow to red. I go to clear the intersection and buddy came out of nowhere and t bones me! Had my car for all of 3 hrs from the tranny shop! What a waste. So anyway, for two weeks after,I had a lot of time on my hands to source out and find myself a 370. No doubt in my mind that this was the car. So I've found a 2011 touring sport with 30,000 kms on it for 25,500$. Now up here in Canada, that's a decent price. So got approved for it and have to fly over and get it,but before that,my father who lives near where it's at,is going to look at it tomorrow. Is there anything he should pay special attention too besides a test drive and look over? Figured I would ask here seeing as you ladies and gents would have some valuable feedback.
Here are some pics.

And a few from the previous car
