Default Copart Z revival in PA

Whats up guys. Just wanted to intro myself real quick. I'm currently rebuilding a 16' Base MT that I picked up from copart (front-end). This is actually my second time as a Z owner. My first was a second-owner 2014 Magma Red sport touring MT that had 9k miles. Only had it for a year until I had to assume the role of "dad" (I'm sure some of us can identify).

My two Z ownerships have been on entirely different extremes of the spectrum, but Im ok with that.

Attached are pics of the copart Z when I got it home, and I threw in some of my old one.

Thanks for having me.

not sure why the attached pictures are sideways, sorry.

I really thought this had a Porsche Ruby Star colored wrap when I first glanced at the pic…. And I didn’t hate it lol

Good luck with the car! What are your plans for it?

Funny thing, it’s most likely going to get wrapped green, only I’m thinking more of an Audi Sonoma green metallic from the RS5.

Plans are just to have a little weekend fun project again. 10 years or so ago I was pretty active in the Rx7 scene. Then life got in the way, so it’s nice to finally get back into it.

I’ve already finished the interior. Post-accident seatbelt rebuild and had red belts done at the same time. Did some Nismo interior pieces since the graphite is more pleasing to the eye than the silver in my opinion.

I’m just about done with the front-end and have the inspection set for the 26th. Once it’s through the enhanced inspection I have a Tomei y and single exit to install, fortune auto coils, voodoo13 fuca’s, white line sway bars and end links, complete z1 rear suspension, a tomei tech trax clutch-type and 4.09 ring to install as well.

Once I can figure a better way to post pics I’ll get some on here. What’s everyone using as an image host nowadays?

Wow that’s quite an awesome mod list to get started! Some quality parts you got there! I’ve had good luck posting images on here via the Tapatalk app (I don’t use the website much anymore). Imgur is my go to for image hosting when I need it tho

Hey, this seems to be working better.

So, here’s a little before and after of the interior. I guess I’ll go ahead and start a build thread so I’m not spamming the intro section.

I appreciate the warm welcome!
